Welcome to Wordly! A fun way to spend time getting to know the people around you.
Setup:
- Players: Ideal for 4 or more players. Works well in a group setting like a party, a team-building event, or a cultural workshop.
Materials Needed:
- Bingo cards (each card has a 5x5 grid with cultural experiences or knowledge).
- Markers or pens for each player.
- A caller to announce the Bingo squares (or self-guided, where players move around and talk to each other).
Objective: The goal is to mark off experiences or knowledge that you have by interacting with other players or recalling your own cultural experiences.
Free Play Version:
- Players can walk around and talk to each other, asking if they’ve done or know about the items on their Bingo cards. If they find someone who has, that person signs or initials the square. This encourages interaction and conversation.
- Once a player has completed a row, they call out “Bingo!” and win the round.
Call-Out Version:
- The game host or a designated player randomly calls out one of the cultural experiences from the Bingo card list.
- If the player has done or knows that cultural experience, they mark it on their card.
- The first player to complete a row (horizontal, vertical, or diagonal) calls out “Bingo!” and wins.
